My Book
Whenever bad things happen in the Black community, Justus Murimi receives calls. Not from people within the Black community, but from those outside. They ask, "How can I help?" "What should I be doing?" and "Are you okay?"
There's only one problem: Justus's answers rarely align with the expectations of those outside the Black community.
In How to Kill a Black Man: A Book About Love, Justus shares how good intentions from those outside a community can inadvertently harm and sometimes even destroy a community in need. Anyone, regardless of their race or ethnicity, can end up hurting the very people they were trying to help if they're not careful.
However, as Justus's experience as a pastor to low-income African American youth and as a life coach to executives reveals in his book, there are methods for effective change. Learn how to transform your desire for positive change into meaningful impact, not just in the lives of others but in your own life as well.
Justus Murimi Has No Friends
This YouTube Channel is all about finding truly unique people and sharing their story. I started this channel because I noticed two gaps in the interview arena…
The first was that the majority of podcasts were about talking to people that weren't that interesting, had been on a billion other podcasts, and were already crazy popular.
The second was that I noticed a lot of people my age (including myself) didn't have real friends anymore and didn't know how (or where) to find them.
I think there are people that I consider "hidden gems" who need to be known. And I hope that through my channel guys like me build better relationships.
I think you are one of those "hidden gems" people.
